Delivery Policy

We work with the independent courier UPS so that we can offer delivery to all areas of the UK mainland. We currently deliver to retail customers only, to residential addresses. You will be asked for ID on delivery for age verification purposes, please ensure somebody will be home to receive the delivery.

 

We have a 3 bottle order minimum and a delivery charge of £7.99 applies to all orders of up to 20kg in weight (up to 15 bottles). 

For orders over this, delivery costs may vary, however we will contact you with further details before confirming your order.

Orders placed by 11am will be sent out on a next day delivery service through UPS, so the goods are with you within 2-3 days of placing your order. We offer free delivery on orders over £120.

Ordering

  • We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18 years old. You confirm you are 18 years old or over, on entering our website and placing an order. We reserve the right not to complete deliveries if there is any uncertainty regarding the age of the person purchasing the goods. You will be asked to show ID when the goods are delivered to you. The person receiving the goods must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Our products are currently only available for sale and delivery within the UK Mainland only. If a product is unavailable, we will contact you and inform you of this. We will contact you to discuss alternative replacement before fulfilling orders.

  • We reserve the right not to accept any order.

  • Please note our goods are currently only available to private, retail customers. They are not available to wholesale or businesses at present. On placing your order you confirm that the goods are for personal consumption, and will not be used in a wholesale or trade capacity. 

 

Payment & Pricing

  • The prices shown on the website are in Pounds Sterling, and include UK VAT where applicable.

  • We endeavour to make sure all prices are accurate at all times. Should an error occur and a bottle be mis-priced, we will contact you immediately to find out whether you would like to proceed with the order at the amended price, cancel your order and receive a refund or select and alternative product.

  • We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers and specifications of goods where necessary. This will be carried out at our discretion, but never after an order has been accepted.

  • Online payments are managed by SagePay. This enables us to carry out safe and secure payment transactions. Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, UK Maestro and American Express. 

Refunds & Returns Policy

  • We try our best to ensure that your order reaches you in perfect condition, however due to the nature of the products we sell, from time to time we accept there will be some damages. If you would like to return your order in the event it is damaged, please email shop@elvermutlondon.com and we will be happy to replace it at our cost. If there are individual items broken, we will offer you a refund proportionate to the value of your order or send extra items on your next order to replace the broken items. 

  • In accordance with the The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you can return an item to us within 14 calendar days of purchase. If you decide you've ordered the wrong item, we are happy for it to be returned unopened and in original packaging and at your own expense. Provided the goods are returned to us unopened and with no damage, a refund will be issued. 

  • Our orders are shipped using the courier service UPS. Deliveries up to 20kg will be shipped using a next day delivery whenever possible. 

Claims & Liability

  • Our contract of sale shall be deemed fully completed and the goods accepted unless a written claim to shop@elvermutlondon.com is received. The following timeframes do apply:

  • In respect of damage, delay or part consignment missing by both us and the carrier, communication should be made within three days of the date of receipt of consignment.

  • In respect of the whole consignment missing by both us and the carrier, or in the eventuality that you decide you wish to return the item (unopened), this should be carried out within 14 days of the date of the despatch note.

  • In respect of any other matter, communication must be made with us within one month of delivery.

  • Goods subject to a claim must be stored by you and kept available for our inspection. We reserve the right to inspect goods declared defective.

  • Subject to agreement, replacement goods may be supplied to the purchaser to satisfy (in whole or part) any liability and such replacement goods shall be supplied on these Terms and Conditions.

  • Except as mentioned in these terms and conditions, all other statements, warranties and conditions whether expressed or implied statutory or otherwise (other than with respect to our title to the goods) are hereby excluded.

  • The use of a description shall not constitute a sale by description. Reference to capacities, colour, weight, use and quantity are all approximate and a reasonable variation shall be accepted.

  • These Terms and Conditions represent our entire liability under the contract and we shall not be liable in any event for consequential or indirect loss or damage arising from the order.

  •  The Purchaser hereby agrees to indemnify us against all claims and expenses in respect of the goods or products incorporating the goods except such liabilities as have been accepted by us in these Terms and Conditions.

  • The purchaser hereby agrees to indemnify us against any liabilities, costs and expenses which we may incur by reason of the claim by a relative or dependent of such purchaser or consumer, arising from any defect or alleged defect in the goods or in such product except and the extent that such liabilities, costs and expenses arise from a breach by us of our obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

  • We reserve the right to amend these conditions, when deemed necessary.

  • The British Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction over these terms and conditions. UK law applies.
